Abstract
We present a visualization system for exploring the high-dimensional graphical data, such as textures or 3D models, in 2D space using the dimensionality reduction method. To arrange high-dimensional data in a meaningful 2D space, we develop a novel semi-supervised dimensionality reduction method that can embed data of high dimension in a user-defined 2D coordinate system that is meaningful in terms of the properties of the data. This is achieved by modifying the Isomap method by weighting the data so that the resulting coordinates have no degeneracies and are orthogonal.
