Abstract

In this article, we implement the deposition of self-textured transparent conductive oxide (TCO) film without chemical etching. As TCO, we choose the Al doped ZnO prepared by a low pressure chemical vapor deposition using a metal organic source. The degree of surface roughness increased with coincidence of increasing Al contents. The effect of light diffusion is also improved in cooperation of Al atoms. From p-i-n solar cell fabrication, the application of Al doped ZnO as TCO allows the achievement of energy conversion efficiencies to 7.7%.
