Abstract

The transient absorption (TA) anisotropy of the B bands of the Zn(II)porphyrin monomer, direct meso-meso coupled dimer and trimer using <30 fs pulses at around 410 nm was measured. It was shown that TA magic angle data and anisotropy can be used to elucidate detailed ultrafast photophysical processes in a multilevel system.
