Abstract

In this paper, time-domain radiation characteristics of horizontal array antennas using four directive UWB pulse radiators are presented. We measured and analyzed far-voltages and time-domain radiation patterns on E and H-planes with optimized array distance which is determined to achieve the highest far-voltage. Through the optimization of the array distance, far-voltage of each array element is improved as 10% compared to the far-voltage of the single antenna without adjacent array elements.
