Abstract

We present ultrafast terahertz scattering dynamics in topological insulator Bi2Se3 thin films. Upon photoexcitation, the surface-scattering rate is increased, resulting in decrease of conductance. At high temperature, however, the photo-generated electrons suppress the surfacescattering.
