Abstract

The measurements of time-dependent decay rates for B ⁰(B̄⁰) → D(*)^∓π ^∓ decays and extraction of CP violation parameters containing φ₃ were discussed. It was found that a 140 fb^-1 data sample, which contained 152 × 10⁶ BB̄ events, was used in the measurement. Charged leptons, pions and kaons were used to identify the flavor of the accompanying B meson. The results show that |2R _D*π sin(2φ₁ + φ₃)| = 0.060 ± 0.040(stat) ± 0.019(syst) can be obtained.
