N2 - This study suggests a new spatial network models (SNMs), called the space-connector model, for improving the representation of the relations between spaces. Previous models had shortcomings of not being able to express the differences in the spatial connection relations between spaces: e.g., the differences in the type and size of openings and as the differences caused by whether a wall is solid or transparent. A new notation for representing these differences is proposed.
