Abstract

In this paper, we propose two algorithms to design spreading codes with good correlation property of target period that is far from all the possible periods from the mother codes. One is concatenating two mother codes whose period is less than the target period and deleting some consecutive bits. Another is only deleting consecutive bits from mother codes whose period is lager than the target period. And then, we design truncated gold codes generated by the proposed algorithm with another truncated gold code of same length used in the GNSS systems.
