Abstract

Park et al. characterize transcriptome responses of colon cancer cells to 5FU-induced DNA damage at single-cell resolution. Many DNA damage response genes are heterogeneously expressed across the cell population. Specifically, cells undergoing different fates had distinct transcriptomic landscapes, characterized by the expression of fate-specific DNA damage response genes.
