Abstract

In this paper, we proposed positioning data watermarking scheme for VLC(Visible Light Communication) system based on QPSK-OFDM modulation. Optical watermarking sequence containing positioning data is transferred on top of original VLC data so both information is sent concurrently. Original data is not affected by watermarking sequence if the magnitude of watermarking signal is low to be ignored by original signal. Under this condition, optimal watermarking signal power should be selected because it is also to be de-modulated well in the system. Through computer simulation, two kinds of performance test stated as above was executed and showed that this proposed scheme is useful at QPSK-OFDM based VLC system.
