Abstract

The planar array applicator for the non-invasive local hyperthermia system is proposed. The 915 MHz modified dipole element is used for planar array. The phase of the E-field is calculated and provided for input phase of the each element of the planar array to deliver the electromagnetic energy to target depth. The SAR ratio between surface and target depth is enhanced from the single element and eqi-phase array. The SAR distribution is synthesized to have 43 °C and 47 °C at target depth on temperature distribution.
