Abstract
We propose a novel per-Tone minimum mean square error (MMSE) receiver for filter-bank multicarrier (FBMC) systems to transmit quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM). To mitigate the residual interference problem, we consider interference channels from the other subcarriers and symbol durations. Simulation results show that the proposed receiver can improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of FBMC systems in multipath fading channels compared to the conventional pertone receiver with same size of receiver matrix.
