Abstract

We report the first observation of the decay [Formula presented] with the Belle detector at the KEKB [Formula presented] Collider operated at the [Formula presented] resonance. The sum of branching fractions [Formula presented] is measured to be [Formula presented] using the full reconstruction method where both charmed mesons from [Formula presented] decays are reconstructed. A consistent value [[Formula presented]] is obtained using a partial reconstruction technique that uses only the slow pion from the [Formula presented] decay and a fully reconstructed [Formula presented] to reconstruct the [Formula presented].
