Abstract

In this paper, we proposes a Bead-based Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (BEIS) platform to provide ultra-high sensitivity of EIS sensor by microwell array as well as reusability by using magnetic beads, for the first time. This novel detection platform enable to detect Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) using magnetic beads by EIS method without any immobilization on the electrodes of sensors, it shows the ability to detect a few fM (<100fg/mL) of PSA, which allows simplifying the measurement procedure with ultra-high sensitivity and recyclability by only changing magnet beads.
