Abstract

MONETA service is one of the recent attempts by SKT (SK-Telecom) to commercialize ubiquitous computing concepts. MONETA service is developed as a result of business convergence between telecommunication and financial industries. In the course of launching MONETA, SKT has encountered many challenging obstacles. Through SKT experiences of MONETA, this article intends to provide business firms, who search for new opportunities for ubiquitous computing, with practical implications.
