Abstract

In VANET, the routing is a challenging process due to an unpredictable vehicle movement and frequent network topology change. Therefore, it is paramount to correctly predict the future movements of vehicles. Various position based routing algorithms attempt to tackle the routing problem, however, they fail to capture the dynamic movements of vehicles. In this paper, we propose a method that selects reliable intermediate node by utilizing the mobility information included in beacons to improve the routing problem.
