Abstract

In this study, we present an experimental result of least mean squares (LMS)-based method for GPS chirp jammer mitigation. Because the chirp jamming signal has a time-varying frequency, the weight vector is calculated by iterative update rather than by solving the Wiener-Hopf equation. The computed weight vector is applied to the transversal finite impulse response (FIR) filter as filter coefficients. The experimental result demonstrates the anti-jamming performance of our approach with live GPS signals and synthetic jamming signals.
