Abstract
Miniaturised artificial magnetic conductors (AMCs) using wide split ring resonator (SRR) loadings and interdigital structures are proposed. Compared to an AMC with normal SRR loadings, an AMC with wide SRR loadings shows lower resonance frequency because of the increased capacitance. The insertion of interdigital structures at top patches and wide SRR loadings further decreases the resonance frequency.
