Abstract

Presently, a lot of efforts are being exerted towards the generation of millimeter-wave (mm-wave) modulated optical signals for applications including optically fed mm-wave wireless systems and optical phase arrays. This paper presents some recent results on the generation of stable and low phase-noise mm-wave signals using semiconductor lasers.
