Abstract
This paper proposes an LMS(Least Mean Square) based forward-link beamforming method. The proposed forward-link beamforming system compensates the phase distortion of reverse-link channel states for reverse-link LMS weight. Therefore, no additional beamforming module for forward-link beamforming is required for the proposed system. While performance of the proposed system is comparable with the conventional forward-link beamforming system, complexity of the proposed system is much less than the conventional system.
