Abstract
We applied the patterned red and green quantum dot (QD) films to blue organic light emitting diode (OLED) as a light converting component and explored the color gamut for the Rec. 2020 standard. The cliromaticity coordinates of the red and green range were optimized in simulation by the careful control of emission peak and bandwidth of red and green QDs. Then, the patterning of QD films were realized using the photoresist dispersed with QDs. After applying the patterned QD film to blue OLED, the color gamut of Rec. 2020 standard was almost realized with the NTSC130% in CIE1931.
