In-line chemical sensing device with C-type fiber and photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

We fabricated the in-line chemical sensing device with novel 'C-type' with only cleaving/splicing process, which supplemented the previous devices' drawbacks. The great potential of this device was also confirmed through acetylene gas sensing experiment.
