Abstract

Localization of an agent in the wireless sensor network is an important issue of sensor network system. We suggest a solution of this problem using visual images. The suggested solution is one of local navigation algorithms by comparing images. The method uses a feature matching algorithm in computer vision field. We show that applying the Speed Up Robust Feature(SURF) algorithm provides a solution of the localization problem. With this concept, we can estimate the location of receiver or transmitter of the system in the wireless sensor network.
