Abstract
The design of a generalized programmable data acquisition chip is introduced. The chip has two separate channels, each consisting of a variable gain low-noise preamplifier, a local anti-aliasing filter and a switched-capacitor lowpass filter with programmable cutoff frequency (0.5 Hz to 2 kHz). Experimental results from the 2 μm CMOS fabricated chips are in good agreement with the theoretical results.
