Abstract
A PC-based real time speech processing system designed for home-agent robots was presented. The key feature of the system was the speech acquisition module using microphone array which enables the acquisition of high quality speech of distant talker. The recognition score of the implemented system was enhanced by about 30% in comparison with conventional single microphone system.
