Abstract

To improve the handover performance of network mobility basic support (NEMO-BS), several schemes have been developed. However, these schemes are designed for a single vehicle and hence may incur significant signaling overhead in the vehicular networks (VNs). Therefore, we propose an bulk fast handover scheme to mitigate such signaling overhead. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme significantly outperforms the previous schemes.
