Abstract

A free-space optics-based sensor network using adjustable mirror devices as sensor nodes has been proposed and developed. An optical sensor network is advantageous in terms of security over RF-based systems. Preliminary data using mirror nodes based on macroscopic alignment of mirrors are presented to investigate alignment and power related issues.
