Abstract
In this study, flexural tests of a 2-span arch deck RC composite specimen were conducted. In the load-displacement test results, the load carrying capacity of the specimen was approximately 2.4 times higher than the design ultimate load. Strain of rebar and concrete were structurally stable until the maximum load was reached. Also, cracking load from the test was approximately 1.9 times higher than the design cracking load. From the finite element analysis results, about 95 % similarity was obtained compared to the experimental results. The overall results showed that the specimens had excellent structural performance due to the structural advantages of the arch shape. Overall, the precasted arch deck is expected to be useful for long span PSC girder bridges as wide span decks.
