Abstract

These study aims to analyze whether an external network tie density and a constructive controversy would have relation with the knowledge management performance in accordance with the internal tie density. Several previous studies related to knowledge management and social network, provide us with theoretical support for research model and hypotheses. A type and intensity of social network would become critical variable as key factor for knowledge management performance caused by internal friendship density. Such reasoning will provide managers seeking practically effective strategies to improve knowledge management performance with simple guideline by forming social network strategy.
