Abstract

In this research, the effect of modulated poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) buffer with N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) in organic solar cell was investigated on the conductivity. The resistivity of pristine PEDOT:PSS is 7.87×10-1 Ω·cm and decrease to 1.45×10-2 Ω·cm at DMF added in PEDOT:PSS. DMF modulated PEDOT:PSS film can improve short circuit current density of solar cells due to their low resistivity This method for increasing performance of organic solar cell can contribute to get high efficiency in the conventional fabrication process of organic solar cells.
