Abstract
A dual-band filter with very narrow bandwidths is demonstrated that is based on an extremely simple structure of a single-section coupled line loaded with shunt inductors. The filter can be designed using a remarkably simple design procedure, which is demonstrated in this work. Moreover, its dual-band performance expands the versatility of the proposed filter to include multiband applications. Experimental results show measured Q-factors of as high as 88.26 and 77.74 at 2.0 and 3.0 GHz, respectively.
