Abstract

In the 5G/beyond 5G (B5G) network, it is expected that immersive experiences will become popular through high degree-of-freedom (DoF) and high resolution virtual reality (VR) contents. To satisfy the requirements of the service, in this paper, we investigate and demonstrate the latency control for interactive five DoF view exploration systems from the perspective of client/server sides and network. The performance of the proposed system is measured by our real-time wireless systems that includes commercial 5G networks, IEEE802.11ac WiFi, and B5G frameworks with ultra-reliable low-latency algorithms.
