Abstract
An account is given on a robotics/UFS (universal force-moment sensor (UFS) testing system with hybrid control. Representative data obtained from in-vitro kinetic tests of human lumbar spine function spinal units using this system are shown. The system is suitable for delineating in-vitro load-displacement characteristics of osteoligomentous spine specimens.
