Abstract

The crystallographic and magnetic properties in CoAl0.2Fe1.8O4 thin films prepared by a sol-gel method were discussed. All the films were found to be a single cubic spinel structure and their lattice constants monotonically decreased from 0.8379 to 0.8362 nm with increasing annealing temperature from 400 to 800 °C. The shapes of coercivities, surface roughness and grain size showed an opposite tendency with increasing annealing temperature.
