Abstract

The authors regret to have included an incorrect citation in the discussion section of the original manuscript. Citation “Smith et al., 2022” when presenting the differences between sexes in the association between handgrip strength and depressive symptoms should be removed. Only the citation “Lee, 2018” is correct in supporting this statement. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
