Abstract
This paper describes the switched reluctance type contact-free linear actuator. The proposed system has the advantages of a contact-free system and a switched reluctance motor (SRM). The structure and operating principle are addressed, and the force analysis is performed to provide information for design. The sigmoid function is used to reduce force ripple, and the some test results are given to verify the feasibility of the proposed system.
