Abstract

This paper introduces a stereoscopy in Computed Tomography (CT), and two projection methods to create a stereoscopy. One is summing projection and the other is Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP). And then, comparison of stereoscopies using summing projection and MIP is presented. Numerical experiments from real CT data were performed for the comparison of the two techniques. Also Anaglyph 3D method is used to offer vivid 3D visualization effect to readers, and provides advantages and disadvantages of each method for conclusion.
