Abstract
In this paper a meander-type slot antenna fed by a strip line is proposed for miniaturized personal communication systems. By varying the slot geometry of the antenna, we have studied the changes of the resonant frequency of this antenna. The size of this meander-type slot antenna is about 56% smaller than the conventional meander slot antenna. Simulated and measured results are presented.
