Au+Au collisions in experiment E917 at the Brookhaven AGS

E917 Collaboration

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The effects of baryon stopping and the subsequent energy deposition on the reaction dynamics of Au+Au collisions at 6, 8, and 10.8 GeV/nucleon are explored within the framework of recent results from the AGS experiment E917. Current analyses pertaining to particle production, stopping power, and two-particle interferometry will be presented. Strangeness and antibaryon production will be examined using the yields of antilambda, and antiproton particles.
