Abstract

The boundary layer integral method is used for the thermal analysis of a jet vane system. The integral boundary layer equations are suggested to be applied for several distinguishable flow regions around a vane surface. The changes of temperature distribution in a jet vane are explained with the flow phenomena around it and the quantitative values show a good agreement with the experimental result.
