Abstract
We propose a new Alamouti scheme based on subcarrier alternating for the multiple-input multiple-output filter-bank multicarrier-quadrature amplitude modulation (MIMO FBMC-QAM) system with two prototype filters. The proposed scheme adopts two combiners to eliminate inter-antenna interference and maximize signal-to-noise ratio. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the bit-error-rate performance of conventional Alamouti scheme for MIMO FBMC-QAM system with two prototype filters.
