Touch screen capability allowing user interface on Smartphone becomes one of important factors that contribute to its success in the market. This is because good user interface design and simple input methods on such mobile devices are particularly critical for users to carry out the tasks that they want This paper studies the touch event process and evaluates its performance based on smooth screen updates. For this purpose, this paper proposes a virtual touch event method without being synchronized to touch event The simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve better smoothness than conventional ones.
