Abstract

Capacitive touch screen panel(CTSP) can emit electromagnetic Held which affects other electronic devices using corresponding frequency band. Therefore, we address electromagnetic interference(EMI) generation from the CTPS as well as we study the mechanism of EMI generation by means of analyzing the basic operation principle of a CTSP. We also measure the level of EM field radiation from a CTSP when the touch driving pulse, which has the amplitude of 2.5V and the frequency of 100KHz, is supplied to a CTSP. Finally, we figure out the principle of EMI generation from a CTSP, as well as we measure the main frequency components radiated from a CTSP.
