N2 - A novel fully integrated active antenna with simple structure is proposed to obtain both high power added efficiency and a compact RF-front structure. To achieve this structure, the direct integration between the output of the power amplifier and antenna is approached. From the measured results and fabrication, it is shown that the proposed novel active antenna provides high power added efficiency of 67.7 % and compact and integrated RF-front structure.
