A note on reverse osmosis batch cells for membrane transport studies

Abstract

A simple model, which includes a quasi-steady state assumption, can be used to describe the unsteady behavior of a batch cell. Experimental data are correlated well by this model and may be extrapolated with good accuracy to obtain the quantities needed to characterize the transport properties of membranes.
