Abstract
Non-perturbative parameters to order O(1/mQ) in the heavy quark effective theory expansion, ∧, λ 1, and λ 2, as well as the masses m b, and m c, were estimated phenomenologically from B and D meson system spectroscopy. We found a relatively large value of m b, and a quite small value of ∧ compared to previous estimates.
