Abstract
In this study, we analyze the design factors for the single-charge mileage of a C-segment electric vehicle and propose a method to achieve the optimal mileage in combination with the proposed conditions. The mileage of an electric vehicle is analyzed in city and highway driving conditions through system-level 1D simulation using the CRUISE M commercial program. The CRUISE M program is a software that can be used from the concept design stage and can predict the performance of a finished vehicle. The reliability and accuracy of the analysis are checked by comparing the simulation analysis results with the government-approved certification test results. The design factor of the analysis is selected by the effect analysis on the mileage. Metamodeling simulation results are used to quickly estimate mileage analysis of designs and derive an optimal design that reflects the constraint conditions using NSGA-II. Compare optimal design results and simulation analysis results to achieve reliability.
